Caroline, Community Rail Lancashire’s new member of staff, didn’t get the best of starts right at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and has been working from home during the lock down regulations. She has been busy on a project to generate more station history posters to join the family of posters that have already been done.
Caroline has been contacting friends of stations groups to ask for their help in providing suitable images of their station along with the history of the station to be including on a poster like the example above.
To help with this Katie, another member of the CRL team, has been creating virtual history posters using Doodly, an animation software. Two stations have had the virtual treatment, Accrington and Burnley Manchester Road and the results can be seen on the links below:
