A new Co-op Food store will open today adjacent to Ramsgreave & Wilpshire station and will provide 8 car park spaces for rail users.

The new store, an £820,000 refurbishment of the building that once housed the Bulls Head pub. The car park next to the store has provision for 28 customer vehicles. The car park, which used to be a popular site for rail commuters using Wilpshire and Ramsgreave Station, will have a further eight spaces designated for the use of the wider community.
Lancashire County Council who had previously negotiated with the pub’s owning group to provide car parking spaces are pleased that the Co-op are continuing this tradition to allow parking for this popular commuting station.
