Around 30 children from three classes at Heyhouses School joined Emily Elliott & Brian Haworth from CRL and members of the Friends group at St. Anne’s Station to plant up the brand new raised bed that was completed last week.
The children were continuing the project that saw the installation of bird boxes and bug hotels at the end of April. Work is continuing on the final stages of the project with the children designing kite themed artwork to be installed as running in boards at the station to help promote the annual Kite Festival that takes place on the beach close the pier in St. Anne’s.
