The annual Festival of Making took place in Blackburn on 15th & 16th June 2019.
Community Rail Lancashire were able to take two groups of families to the festival by train from Accrington to enjoy the many activities on offer. Some of the families said that they had never travelled by train before and were pleasantly surprised at how accessible the festival was this way. No need to look for car parks or worry about parking charges!
There were many activities and workshops for people of all ages to participate in as well places to try new food. Adults and children all thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
