DalesRail Walks Programme Published

Get your walking gear ready, dubbin your boots and dig out the maps – whilst the weather outside today may not be conducive to fell walking it is not that long until the 2018 DalesRail season starts.

The Lancashire Rail Ramblers have been busy during the autumn and winter getting the guided walks programme ready and it is now available to download from the website.

The DalesRail Walks Programme is the most comprehensive guided walks programme in the country and the 2018 season will see a total of 71 guided walks led by experienced leaders from the Lancashire Rail Ramblers. The programme includes:

+  31 walks graded very strenuous, strenuous or moderately strenuous, for the more experienced walkers;

+  23 walks graded moderate or moderately easy, for the slightly less experienced; and

+  17 walks graded easy, easy stroll or snail-paced walk, for those who are new to guided walks or like an easier day!
