Community Rail Lancashire is very happy to report that at last night’s ACoRP Community Rail Awards it took home two winners trophies and a second place certificate.

In the Involving Children & Young People category CRL took first place for it’s Stand Clear of the Closet Door project that is designed to make travelling by train available to all, and Daisy & Elena were on hand to take to the stage to accept the prize.

Second up was the Involving Diverse Groups category and CRL was awarded second place for the On Track to Train project that introduces underrepresented groups of young people to possible careers in the railway industry.
Moving on to the Small Projects Award (Under £500) category and CRL’s Karen was delighted to win in her first ever project entered into the awards.
