The Association of Community Rail Partnerships (AcoRP) are looking for a Training and Development Coordinator.

This new post will be based in The Water Tower, ACoRP’s Huddersfield Head Quarters. The post is for a full time Training & Development Coordinator with a salary of £27,000 – £33,000 per annum.

 

ACoRP are looking for a highly competent and dynamic training and development coordinator to develop and deliver an ambitious new programme for community rail groups around Britain. You’ll be joining a small, passionate team dedicated to supporting our members to make a difference within their communities.

About this role

This is a new role that can make a huge difference to the community rail movement. We want to better support our members to improve their skills in running their community-based organisations (such as in management, planning, funding and marketing) and develop their effectiveness. We also want to help our members offer greater benefit to their communities by way of learning and skills opportunities, such as by engaging young people and disadvantaged groups in volunteering and work placements. A big part of this is helping our members to engage effectively with industry, public and third sector partners, and educational establishments.

This post-holder will lead on this work, taking on the challenge of developing and coordinating a needs-orientated programme of training and development activities for community rail partnerships, groups and enterprises.
