Over the weekend of 10th, 11th & 12th June 2016 millions of people will be celebrating HM the Queen’s 90th birthday, and at the same time, celebrating the vitality and creativity of our communities.
Railway Stations sit in the heart of British communities and for the first time in history, they are joining together to provide a stage to celebrate HM Queen Elizabeth II’s milestone birthday, providing a wonderful array of activities as part of the nationwide celebrations.
Community Rail Lancashire is getting behind local celebrations and its headquarters at Accrington station will see an open morning with complimentary teas, coffees and muffins and goody bags available to visitors and travellers alike.
