The works to refurbish the lower concourse at Blackburn station are very nearly complete.
Internally the newly painted original roof trusses can be seen and the wall panelling at high level is also visible. The demolition of the wall adjacent to the disabled ramp has really opened the area up and this has now been replaced with glass panelling which will allow better light distribution in the area.
