The recently installed recycled plastic planters on the platforms at Bamber Bridge station have now been filled.
A working party including representatives from South Ribble Borough Council, South Ribble Pensioners Association, Network Rail and pupils from Cuerden Church Primary School got involved with the planting and also a general clean up. Network Rail were on hand to give the school children a safety talk prior to them helping to fill the planters on the Blackburn bound platform.
