Padiham Greenway

The Padiham Greenway opened  in June 2010 and is a cycling and walking route that runs over the old railway track bed of the Padiham Loop Line from Padiham to the towpath of the Leeds Liverpool canal close to Rose Grove station.

The Greenway is just one section of a longer cycling route that takes in the whole of the loop line from Blackburn through to Burnley. The Greenway can be easily accessed from three stations; Rose Grove, Hapton and Burnley Barracks and each station has a poster showing the route and these can be downloaded by clicking the following links: Rose Grove Poster, Hapton Poster & Burnley Barracks Poster and there are two leaflets showing the full route and these can be downloaded by clicking the links below:
