The East Lancashire CRP is now in its fourth year of sponsorship of the Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival which takes place in Colne over the August bank holiday weekend. As part of the sponsorship this year we have had blues music on Blackburn and Manchester Victoria stations to promote the event at Colne. There is also a Blues Train which runs from Preston to Colne on the Friday evening, timed to arrive at Colne for the start of the weekend’s festivities.
